Does anyone have this working for a Nikon camera? Seems the Nikon supplied codec is 32bit only and Nikon have no plans for a 64bit version.

I've found a couple of supposed solutions but they all want money and I want to see it working before I shell out - anybody managing this?

Easy peasy

Install the 32 bit Nikon codec and create a desktop shortcut to 32 bit Windows Explorer:

%windir%\SysWOW64\explorer.exe /separate /e, D:\Photos

Substitute "D:\Photos" to wherever on your drive your photos live, or even just the root C: or D: etc

If you're using Windows Photo Viewer to view the files, then you can run the x86 version of it by launching it from C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Photo Viewer

Just launch the link to 32 bit Windows Explorer whenever you want to browse the NEF's

Also just found out Canon do not support x64 OS for its RAW codecs. bds. If you want to view your codecs this is the codec pack (Covers ALL major RAW file types)
