If you're a fan and worried about how he's gonna pan out out as the new Doctor - then worry no more!

Here's a brilliant trailer being shown on BBC America that'll start the process of you forgetting about David Tennant.

As I say, seriously good news for all Who fans yes

Can't wait!

Isn't he never supposed to fire a gun?

Still looks good though, I like that it's "all new", no more Piper, Agman, Tate and co, it'll be interesting. How on earth are they going to drag the Daleks back this time though?

That's a shame.

And on a side note, I always thought Christopher Eccleston was a better Doc. than David Tennant.

Certainly 'Darker' and more 'pained' than Tennant. Tennant was good but the key is always the scripts.

I liked Eccleston he was more of a 'blokey' Doctor.
Still think he bailed out too soon. Hell, he really must be kicking himself now.

Dear All,

I concur with the Christopher Ecclestone evaluation. When asked about his northern accent responded "lots of planets have a north".

Close to Patrick Troughton in style I thought,

Jet

Small titbit:

Apparently, whilst he is not gay himself, Smith is the first Doctor to appear on the cover of the magazine Gay Times.

Another one to agree here.

I didn't catch many of the Ecclestone Whos, then got them and watched over a few nights. For me they were generally stronger stories, and Ecclestone is possibly a better actor than Tennant. Not to say that the Tennant series were bad.

Yeah, darker & more pained is a good way of putting it & I don't see why they couldn't offer him the part again. It must be quite easy to write him back in somehow, I mean they wrote Bobby Ewing back into Dallas & he wasn't even a time lord.
