E46 2003 Tracker

BMW fitted tracker on my car when it was supplied, not on the tracker or trackstar databases though who use the chassis number as the reference. Does anyone know who the tracker service would be, going to pass the details back to the dealer who are going to try and contact the original supplying dealer for more information, but thought someone on here with a car of similar age might know who BMW was using back then? Would help speed up getting proof for my insurance.

Trackstar is the traficmaster service so looks like the same call centre and that database should already have been checked. Anyone with an earlier BMW fitted tracker comment?

I'd have thought looking at whoever bills you might be a good start. Without a subscription, arent these just useless little walkie talkies?

That's the issue, it was sold with it unactivated (though on BMW spec list it shows as fitted) so trying to get it registered under my name and resubscribed for my insurance. No obvious plastic boxes under the bonnet but guess the whole point is that they are well hidden. Without knowing who the box is controlled by there is no way to have it activated, wouldn't have thought there were many companies in the market though?

My old 2003 M3 had one that was fitter by Tracker.. perhaps try them?

My E46 03 has one fitted by Tracker. Not switched on though....

My E46 2002 was fitted with a Tracker Horizon

Found it in the end though had to write in to the tracker people with chassis numbers as it was too old to be on their electronic system when the call centre people look it up. Needed a £80 tracker upgrade with new battery before they could activate it again.
