Hello guys and girls, I am leaving in a month for a semi backpacking/bloody long holiday round asia for 6 months.

I am in the process of trying to sort insurance out, does anyone have any good experiences with any particular companies ?

It is one of those things that I am thinkning I don;t want to pay for really ( went on a rugby tour to Veitnam without any injections, insurance etc, but loved every minute of it inc cutting my arm badley, swimming in the mekon river, a fusty lake pissed, playing road rash on scooter and coming off ) but now I am a few years older and going with the wife so suddenly have become conservative and am thinking if it goes wrong I just don; twant any hassles, so I want a policy that will actually work rather than just the cheapest thing I can find ( although the cheaper the better ! )

So any tips or recommendations ?

Insure and Go for me.
Decent level of cover for a good price and their service was good enough when I needed to claim in Thailand smile

I misjudged. Didn't expect them to have the balls, to be honest.

Enormously so, by comparison.
