employment solicitor recommendations
Discussion
I have a strong suspicion that I'm about to be made redundant. So far the process the company is taking is reasonably fair and open so no issues there. Our business base can no longer support the staff numbers so something's got to give. My issue is that I'm getting vibes the company will not give me the same package (pay in lieu of notice and redundancy compensation) as my colleagues because of a technicality. I don't feel the company has a leg to stand on with respect to that technicality but would like the opinion of a solicitor familiar with UK employment law.
Am posting under a pseudonym from my usual name (been here for 6+ years) as I wish to remain anonymous. I also don't wish to post details of the technicality as it could be used to identify me. Will post back when all is finished and hopefully resolved to me satisfaction. TIA for any recommendations on a solicitor who will tell me the truth rather than what he/she thinks I want to hear.

First off check your household contents insurance for legal cover. You may find you already have some very good free legal cover - both in terms of initial advice and any subsequent legal action.
If you want some direct advice (i.e. no cover) then I'm happy to pass on the details of someone very good if you email me.
