rear brake replace 330 E46

I have the usual brake pipe rusted up just before the flexable which goes to the caliper. I am going to try and replace the section which is rusty by cutting and jointing the offending pipe with a male and female joint. This will involve cutting and flaring the excisting pipe on the car ( I have the tool) does anyone know how easy it is to get at the pipe once it has entered the car interior, round about the rear seats, so I can get a really good peace of pipe to cut and join. I am thinking of tackling it this way as the rusty pipes go all the way back to the front of the car with no join.
