PayPal Pro integration (PHP)

I'm trying to integrate PayPal Pro into a PHP site at the moment, and frankly finding it a bit of a nightmare. In my defence, I do have manflu.

Anyone done it?

Have you tried their developer forums? Is it a lot different from standard?

I just seem to have a brain fart whenever I try to find things on their website. All their products are quite similarly named.

Website Payments Pro is the one that keeps you on the vendor's site (rather than redirecting the user through the PayPal site) throughout the checkout process.

If you're trying to setup IPN, use SSL (on your server). When I was setting it up it didnt seem to mention it anywhere, but it was what did the trick.
