Hi
(Lemans 24hrs)
Any suggestions on where we can book access to a nice VIP marquee, or enclosure - preferably trackside?? Everything on the web seems to come as part of a package invloving accomodation and travel which we already have?

Cheers for any ideas...

James

Speed Chills also offer a very similar hospitality thing, which IIRC is trackside:

ETA - not actually trackside, but their Bleu Sud one is within a 10 min walk of the circuit.

A mate of mine had an official Audi hospitality invite yesterday which included 2 nights in a hotel for £1000!!!!! You get the full treatment but way way too much on the wallet front. Did not include travelling but did include VIP exclusivity.

We are actually staying with speedchills, so will have access to their enclosures, we were just looking for access to something, hopefully trackside, where we can get away from the masses and drink large quantities of alcohol in pleasant surroundings. beer

Anyone else got any ideas??

I recall seeing somewhere that Team Oreca has some trackside hospitality and pits visits etc. Not sure when/ where or the cost though.

Become ACO members and use the members only enclosure at the Dunlop bridge.
If a bit of peace is what you want than this will do you. Also gives access to the ACO building opposite the pits. This houses the ACO grandstand. You will not have access to the viewing area without a grandstand pass, but there are decent showers loos a bar and somewhere to sit.
We use this stand as it is the best and the only stand with facilities. If you have not got your race tickets, then seriously consider tribune 18. TL supply these with membership to the ACO and GE passes.

To get the best, I'm afraid you may have to pay a bit, but it's once a year and not worth scrimping. IMHO

This might not be what you are after, but TL are track side inside at Tertre Rouge. they have a very good set up with Marquee, TV, SAT, Music, decent bar, Footy Saturday night etc and it is open to all TL customers.
So become a TL customer and you can use it. Buy GE passes or a couple of grandstand seats and ask for some wrist bands.

I've been going to LeMans since the early 70's and have been making my own arrangments for many years.

BUT if I was paying for a VIP package I would be realy Pi**ed Off if someone was making their own arrangments, but wanted to just use the VIP enclosure

Ladies and Gents.
After concideration TL have decided to remove the offer of access to our marquee to all TL customers.
The Dedicated site and it's facilities will only be available to the sites occupants.
Our intentions were good, but with hindesight can see how unfair this would be to those that have actually paid for the facilities.
