Two Elise entered in Six Hour Endurance

The Lotus Elise Team of Michael Cowen & Chris Cowen, and Clive Dunster & Chris Dunster are entered in the Six Hour 2010 Endurance on the 21st May.

The Team having to complete 480 laps of the Mallory Park circuit in six hours, including driver changes and refuelling.

The entry fee is £125 per person. No race licence required. Road registered sportscars only. Free admission to all Mallory Park spectator areas and the paddock. Places for two teams remaining.

Can you give me an overview of his event please? What is it exactly & who is taking part? Why do they have a target number of laps to mmet? Presumably there are other cars on track at the same time.
