I was meant to be going to see Brian Cox give a lecture (6th April) however my sister in her infinite wisdom didn't think they would get sold out. After promising she would get them several weeks ag.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere I may be able to try and get tickets for a sold out event that covers Conway Hall, or lectures.

As most seem to cover sports and theatre.

Thanks

Is this the fellow who can't stop smiling?

Even when he's talking?

Because if so, I slightly want to punch him on the face.

Is this the bloke with the big lips?

Very punchable. Cannot stand his delivery on TV.

People often do get scared by people more intelligent than themselves.

Yes it is the man who is currently presenting the Solar System program on the BBC.

No she is my sister, not fit.

I quite like the bloke. He attempts to actually tell you something. Despite the BBCs best efforts to dumb it down.

The two are not mutually incompatible, you know. You might have a fit sister. And if you do you can guarantee that someone will find the "useless without pictures" graphic...

And the best thing about him is that he managed to explain the theory behind the physics of the green house effect without telling us we are all killing the planet and should live in tents.

He's also involved in that Hadron crasher thingy in Switzerland.

He does make it interesting and he's obviously a bit of a geekanerdzoid but I like him. As I've already said.

Don't think one has to be gay to be attracted to someone of the same sex (it was meant in jest anyway smile ).
