hi folks, my v8v has a standard grille and i was thinking of an upgrade to bright finish. is it worth it? will it end the bloody fingers from polishing the slats one by one?

cheers

Well then you have to polish the underneath of every slat one by one, otherwise you think you've still got marks on the top and eventually realise its a reflection from the underneath of the slat above!

so if i keep what i have i can cut my slat work in half?! don't know why they don't just make the bright finish standard.

do you wash/rinse with filtered water afterwards? I find that helps most...then just a wipe with the drying towel and they look like new

lots of complaints on the bright finish one, from water spots, are from not washing/rinsing properly in hard water areas ....

Got one as a Christmas present (Aston Annie really knows how to spoil me smile ). Only got to try it on Sunday due to the weather up until now. Seemed to work well - but it was only a practice run, will try it properly at the weekend and hopefully wont have to polish the grill slats
