I know "Ferb" is going, so who else is???wavey I will be in a white integra and possibly a bright orange r300. The integra is still in the garage having its engine rebuiltwhistle, so hoping it will be ready and slightly run in. The caterham will be the insurance policy!

Really? I haven't been to Bedford in the Elise, only in my old 993 and that would have been at least two years ago.

I'm there in my Westfield and my neighbour will be there in his Corvette. If it's as wet as the forecast suggests the Westy will be staying on the trailer and I'll be wafting my £1500 Lexus tow barge around until the brakes give in.

We have a garage and you are welcome to leave things there.

Not yet - I guess they are allocated as you arrive..

We should be easy to find. A black corvette pace car and a red Westfield.

More red flags than a chinese communist march, but a good slippery day.

Sad to see the Corvette hit the wall, but looked purely cosmetic thankfully.

I was still running my engine in, so was fairly cautious, but it didnt blow up (for a change).

Ive got some poor pics, but let me know which you were and send me a pm.

Brilliant day. A first properly wet track day for me so a great education and the car was faultless all day. Damn shame about all the red flags in the latter hours though. Very frustrating and we all missed out on an extra go each as a result but hey ho. Some people just have to push to hard don't they. Ferrari 328 had a huge code brown 10 mins from the end, two spins in front of our car and sideways into the gravel trap, lucky not to go over our driver said!

Irritants, little black Ginetta thingy, Red VX220, one of the orange Clios. Use your mirrors!

Brummie, I was in GPR picking up some bits, looked out of the window, saw your car
drive up yo the roundabout, doughnut round it and head back the way you came.
Guess you were lost, trying to get out, made me laugh.

I'm doing a Trackday there on Monday woohoo I was a big fan of the previous GP layout and have done 10+ Trackdays on it, so very keen to try the new/bigger version

what did you think of the new layout?

It wasn't really the new layout - we were using the old GP layout, now called "Bridge GP" I think. The only real layout change was at Club, which has been ruined in my opinion, you now need to treat it as (almost) two corners. In addition lots of kerbs have changed, now low profile type, and quite a lot of new tarmac.

I didn't really enjoy it very much: it was ridiculously slippery in places, especially Copse for some reason, the Bridge to Woodcote complex was like ice, and the tight left hander before Luffield (Hollywood is it?) was pooling water on exactly the line, I do wonder if the resurfacing there is not quite right somehow.

Being on R888s in an Elise obviously didn't help, but I was sliding everywhere and had a couple of spins.
