Transferring favourites on a Tomtom

Hello, I love my Tomotom 910 but my car is quite loud and with the roof down I cant hear any of the spoken directions. I tried a friends new tomtom and found the volume on the new ones is a lot louder. I want to get one but dont want to loose 3 years of favourites. Is there anyway I can copy the favourites across to the new tomtom (eg by connecting the TT to my PC, going into windows explorer and somehow copying the files from my old tomotom's folder to the new tomtom?)

easy peasy. Browse your tomtom data from your PC (it appears as a drive letter). Find file mapsettings.cfg. Copy from old tomtom to same location on new tomtom
