To all PH men out there, I need your honest advice.

On Tuesday the gf and I were having a look around the town centre of Oxford (rather nice) and she says "I have to check out Gap, they've got a sale on and I havent been for ages".

Ok I thought, I can handle 30 mins browsing.....after 30 mins she hadnt even finished collecting stuff to "try on", so I gave it another ten minutes and realised I may have bitten off more than I can chew.

"I'm going to pop over the road for a coffee, come and get me when you're done."

"No problems" she replies.

I retire to the coffee shop, have a love cup, a couple of cane ginger biscuits (ridiculously overpriced) and read the paper. 20 minutes passes.....no sign.

I go back in and notice that the customers are all exclusively mid 30's women who all have the look of hunting predators as they peruse the goods...anyway...no sign of my lass. I guess she must be in the changing rooms.

I wait 20 mins until eventually she comes out and gives me a "Whats the problem look".

We then leave.

Does this change? Whats the best way to combat these situations? We're about to move in together...help....

I never go shopping with Mrs NDA. Ever. Despite the fact she's armed with my credit card.

Afterwards, drag her to a gunsmiths or military model shop and spend even longer in there.

Fight fire with fire.

Did she actually buy anything?

Get revenge next time you're passing a favourite car/bike dealer. Go in, try all the models on, spend a bit too long for her liking.

Clothes shopping, Lorraine goes on her own.

Other stuff, depends if I'm interested or not.

This is the correct answer, but I really like the next idea …

St Files: No, it doesn’t get any better. However, you’ll get better at avoiding it. You’re on the right path with that coffeeshop plan. Now you know that you can safely sneak in a swift pint and then go for the coffee (to disguise the smell of pub) and still make it back to the shop before your lady has left the clothes shop.
