I usually just go M23 -> M25 -> A20 but I'd like to take the scenic (fun) route this time. It will be Saturday afternoon if that makes any difference. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Not sure how much of a fun route, but scenic you could always go to Lewes, then up the A26 to Tonbridge, and then hop on the M25 at junction 5?

I'd avoid going via Tunbridge, best bet is A27 to Lewes, A26 to Little Horsted, A22 around Maresfield picking up the B2026 to Westerham. Then the A233 to Bromley from there its pretty easy going anywhere around South East London.

I use to do this daily driving from Eastbourne so didn't go via Lewes, is a nice route and very little traffic.
