Help ! - buying Used 996

Hello all !

Just about to realise a childhood dream and do the deed ! Am about to buy a used 996 C2 and wanted to get some advice

it is a 2001, 28,000km, grey, fully equipped (including sun roof, GPS and phone),

We agreed on €54,000


1) what do you guys/girls think of the price?
2) what should I be looking for and what questions should I be asking (new brakes, new tyres, etc)
3) How hard do you think the value will be hit by the arrival of the new 997

Any other thoughts welcome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...is that Euros or pounds sterling (dealer or private)? If £ - way too expensive. If Euros - not too bad.

Used prices will of course be hit by the advent of the 997.

Do a search for 'used 996' on this forum - loads of stuff discussed in the past.
