I was exiting the D&C Line just after it happened, saw some blood and someone on the floor surrounded by about 10 people and loads of police shouting at everyone to leave the station. I had guessed at perhaps a fight or possibly someone had fallen on the steps.

Turns out a 15 year old boy has been stabbed to death...not something you expect to happen at a major station in rush hour.

It's bad enough that they do it where there's nobody around but now they just don't care. How long before they use guns and bystanders get taken out, too?

Another one gets locked up, no real loss.
I'd be surprised if they don't catch him.

Yes, it's a shame someone got killed rather than just injured.

Work right next to Victoria and was just going home when it happened. Total chaos as the whole area was shut down. Very sad indeed.

Sad news, heard it on a radio.

CCTV isn't a deterrent as such in most cases (be it drug dealing or more serious matter) - that's where clothing comes into it. Also CCTV can be evaded by positioning your body right - it'll see you but not what you're doing.

I think the main problem is frame rate and resolution tbh.

Any connection I wonder with all these Voilent/sick games they play on their PC's, just about every film you see now is killing one way or another.

Me, neither. Possibly worthwhile starting another thread for it, Vipers?

I play a lot of violent games, and I must admit, walking through Victoria at rush hour does sometimes make me wish I had Commando Pro equipped.

So yes, absolutely.

School kids. Not much will really come from it if he's under 18, will it?

Yesterday it occurred to me it would only be a matter of time before we got the 'talented footballer' line for the young lad murdered.

Well, with crashing inevitability

I did chuckle when I heard it on the news but he was playing for some team related to Chelsea so I assume he must have been pretty good.

Oh what! A promising young footballer! What will the world do without another footballer.

A true loss.

I'd be much more saddened by the loss of a promising young physicist.

Football is irrelevant to anything.

Shame the lad died though, he does look a bit gangbanger in that pic though.

Photo says it all. Gang related, life is cheap in some parts and all that.

If there was some trouble for a few weeks already, why no police patrols then?
