Respray costs?

Hi all,

Just about to get the Cerb out for the Summer and was thinking its ready for a full repaint! Got a few stonechips here and there!

Any recommendations where to go and the potential costs involved? The colour is Crystal Topaz so I understand the paint isn't cheap.

Just want to prepare myself a little as falling over in a bodyshop may be embarrassing!!

Assuming it's not a colour change then you should get a decent job for about £2k.

You don't say where you are, but I can highly recommend a place on the Herefordshire / Worcestershire border who have done a couple of excellent jobs for me including a bare metal respray on an early E-type and a scrape down the side of our 308 GTS - the garage wall won

After lots of head scratching (and wallet examining) he's also about to get my Cerb for a colour change to black - so he'll have had some practise!

Interestingly, he helped develop the spectraflair colours for TVR so he's no stranger to fibreglass or complicated paint effects.

APM have a bodyshop they use. Did a good job on one of my cerbs.

also he could probably paint a couple of cerbs for 2k.

I had these guys do my cerb http://www.pendletonbodyrepairs.co.uk/page/pendlet... who are based down in Ash. They did an excellent job at a good price, although he had an absolute nightmare with all the stone chips on the front-end.

Liphook Coachworks often have TVR's of various kinds in for bodywork and resprays. I believe that Fernhurst Autos use them!
