Brake caliper renovation

Hi folks,
The re-build is starting, following a protracted disassembly of my Tamsin. It will be nice to see something going back together again!
In the meantime I have seized brake calipers and would appreciate a pointer in the direction of someone who does a proper job of renovation thereof, preferably without stealing my wallet in the process!

If big red do rebuilds then I would say they are the way to go.
They have always sorted out caliper rebuild kits and brake master kits for me and have been very helpfull.

Failing that, if you are near Gravesend I can give you a hand!

when i had my 350 i got exchange calipers from canvey island autos i think they about £65 at the time there number is 01268 685905 what part of essex are you in

Hi, I have a set of vented discs and the choice of standard vented or 4 pot princess calipers if you want to have a go at the conversion in the technical section. Regards, Mark

I got some new Granada ones from my local car shop, did the job and cheep

Blimey! Almost too much info! Thanks guys, but I have bought them from my local car parts waller, BJ Motor Spares in Saffron Walden. Much the same price as I found elsewhere, local and had them in, exchange, in 24 hours.

I recommend them - very helpful!
