Whats with this network?

Since I installed a new wireless network we are getting a wierd problem...

When one of the computers that is hard wired into the hub (4) is switched off we lose internet and email access. Why should this be, on the last one it did not matter which PCs were on or off it just worked.

There are four wired computers and three wireless ones on the network.

Any suggestions?

Is the computer that is hardwire to the Hub connected directly to the internet (internet connection sharing or do you have a ADSL modem connected to your hub as well

should have said really, its an adsl router as well.

it sound to me that the other computers are trying to connect to the net through the workstation that is turned off.

I would check that on the other machines that there default gateway is the adsl router
