Just some pointers that I found today.
Fitted by bump steer kit and rack spacers this afternoon.
All went on easily even with removing a couple of threads off the track rods. The spacers were actually harder due to location of my coolant pipes and the fact the bolts are a PITA to get to. Also you may need some longer bolts (as I found) to hold it all tight.
I also replaced my UJ's as my steering was feeling a little "dead" or "loose" around the straight-ahead. After changing them and grinding the edges of the UJ's so they cleared OK the looseness was still there. So I tighened the rack adjuster and this appears to have cleared it all.
On top of the rack there's a allen grub screw with a 19mm lock nut, loosen the lock nut and screw in the grub screw until the slack is removed in the steering wheel but has not become tight to turn, tighten the lock nut and recheck, job done!

just a quick update. I've had to remove about 10-12mm off one of my track rods now due to the thread bottoming out. Back to the garage for a retrack tomorrow.

Also I'm now suffering from more lock to the left causing the the wheel on the right to hit the wishbone on full lock yet I don't have the problem on right lock. Checked that the rack is central and that alll seems fine. Only thing I can think is that the rack isn't central in the chassis. I've even undone the rack an moved it fully to the right.
Appears from just driving the rubbish roads round bere that it is improved but it has been a while since I've driven the car.
