How do i access my web space?

ok, so NTL broadband give me 55mb of webspace apparently - great thinks i, i can stick my petrolhead videos on there for all to see.

only problem is, they have given me the address and naff all else. The page wont display when i try going to it and i have no idea how to upload things to it.

can anyone help?

You need to create your own website and upload it to the address they've given you. There's nothing there because you haven't put your site there yet.

maybe i will just stick my videos on disc and send them to ted to see if he is willing to put on Pistonheads TV! cheers anyway

By default they should have a web page there already for you probably named index.html that will prob just shows a default NTL screen. To make a home page you'll need a file called this written using HTML. To upload onto it is probly easiest using FTP but you'll need your logon id and password. You should be able to get to it using Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, format is something like for IE.

FTP://[yourusername]:[yourpassword]@[yourwebsite address e.g. www.schnozz.com]

If it's anything like the blueyonder system you should be able to get instructions from their web site explaining what to do.
