If you can stretch to 20" (matron!) then you'll get 1600x1200 instead of 1200x1024...

I recently bought 20 Acer 20" monitors for £600 each. They have a contrast ratio of 600:1 which is really good but 2 have had to be returned due to one or two small shadowy areas on the screen where it appears to have been damaged - I saw these come out of the box so I'm sure the defects were caused either in teh factory or in transit.

Got a pair of Samsung 191T's - Very impressed and No dead pixels after almost a year.

Looking at the 213T now - 21" model now as it has 1600x1200 as someone else mentioned which is ideal for my line of work............
