Traffic Vehicles

I've been seeing a lot of Traffic Officer Vehicles around lately, some 4x4 and some vans, all of which have had some sort of electronic masts on their roofs. There was one on the A470 yesterday morning, just before Ponty. What are they ? What are they doing?

they can put on a rolling road block though, which does surprise me very much tbh.

They've had them for some time on the other side of the bridge.

Some of them seem to take delight in cruzing at 70mph and watching the traffic build up behind them.

I like to pull along side them and then floor it.

Too many of these "pretend" police officers about for my liking.

I passed a traffic vehicle on the A470 this morning, it looked like a VW T5 Sportline, big rims and a bodykit. Trying to work out why they need to spend so much public money on this type of vehicle when a 'normal' T5 will do the same job?

Perhaps it was a deal with VW to promote the van?
