Decorator Costs
Discussion
Looking for some guidance on costs for a decorator.
My lounge and dining room both need re-decorating and right now I have neither the time nor desire to do it myself so it's going to get outsourced.
The lounge is approx 4mx4m and requires all the wood work doing including caulking and making good. The walls are reasonable but need finishing in places. I will supply coving which needs fitting. The ceiling is a bit rubbish and I have had a recommendation that it is lined with paper to improve? The chimney breast will be a 'feature' wall with paper, the other painted. Paint for the walls and woodwork, along with the paper for the chimney breast will be provided as will the coving. The decorator will need to provide any making good stuff, adhesives, along with lining paper and ceiling paint.
The dining room is much the same and requires walls, woodwork and ceiling to be painted, no paper in here.
So what sort of money should i be paying?
Any ideas welcome
