Lovely example I'm sure - 1 owner and 5000 miles - but £175k!!!

The ex-Barry Gibb 5000S sold for half that so can't see them getting anywhere near.

Shame it's been sat around most of its life and not being used - I see there is also a 1200 mile Anniversary in the classifieds too. Lots of these cars must be tucked away in collections for years.

...just a point other than the clearly absurd market-shagging asking price but with such low mileage, this car may as well be screaming for tons of work to be done to make up for the near-criminal lack of use so it probably couldn't be trusted to travel the distance to the nearest petrol station as it is... rolleyes

Another sad 'Shergar' of a Lamborghini that, (now it's been moved out of the old shed it's been stuck in for many years), is obviously being required to race and win the Countach equivalent of the Grand National... nono

Also as far as I recall, the also underused ex-Gibb's 5000S had a few intriguing features that added to its obvious 'value' as well, like no headlining... scratchchin

Chances are this car will disappear in to one of the growing number of car collections in the Far East. Destined to be looked at and never driven. Let's face it the sort of people who will buy this sort of garage queen are simply interested in it's condition. If you've just bought a Muira of any type for your collection a Countach looks cheap, too cheap. Most of us had conversations like this about Muiras 7 to 10 years ago and now most of us will never own one. When you compare Lamborghinis to any comparable Ferraris they still look unbelievable cheap. Mine for one won't be coming up for sale anytime soon!

"Proberly".

Erm, you're selling an overpriced £175k car - attention to detail would help.

here you go, I'm no Countach expert, and as these cars are getting rarer and rare, its probably the one you're thinking of

That car was originally orange then became red for many years (see below at the Alexandra Palace classic show in 2003) up to a 2005 or so.

When sold just after that time it was the first Countach of any kind back over the £100k 'barrier' for many years...

... as well as JYP 43N on our stand, that's probably the first Miura to ever come to the UK on the right and the first Murciélago in LCUK as well.

The VFS 141 plate has appeared on many Lamborghinis over the years and that's the kind of 'classic' Lamborghini that gets displayed when classic show organisers attempt to restrict us to such a small space wink
