rear suspension squeak on an E38 740i
Discussion
HI,
I replaced the shocks, discs and pads on my E38.
About a week (and 700 miles) after this, a loud squeak started from the rear passenger side. If you lean on the rear of the car, it squeaks very loudly. Any movement of the suspenaion causes the Squeak (It is not the new Shock) It appears to be a a bush on one of the suspension arms.
Is this just a case of grease, or is it new bushes?
Are the bushes difficult to replace (I just have normal tools i.e. no press) or is it advisable to replace the suspension arm?
Any advice welcome as it is doing my head in.
