Help....

Afternoon all. Anyone by any chance got a spare wiring loom for a cosworth 24v motor in the Taz? Ours is rather worse for wear and some of the wires needed have snapped out the ECU plug (too close to solder up!)

Basically looking for the complete loom from the ECU!

Dave, cant help with the loom but John Toovey may have one. If not then he will be able to repair yours like he did with mine. Turned it round in only 4 days. His number is 01543-505565

If you get really stuck, I have a box with the ecu and wiring that came out of the granada cossy i had. I'll need something back at some point though as i'll need it for mine...

Kev, it's the standard ECU for the BOA engine - EEC1V or something?? With one fusebox (apparantly you can have 1 or 2?).

It's typical that I've found this so close to raceday - the wires I reckon have been so brittle they've split/snapped either when in storage or when putting back on the car.

Dave, Spoke to John Toovey today and he says that he has a loom in stock so if you are still struggling, give him a ring and he will send it to you.

Thanks Dave - managed to get one sorted! Getting one made up brand new and he's going to hand deliver it (and hopefully if enough time fit it all in + dash too!!). So all being well the car will fire into life this weekend and be done by Easter Monday!!

Mine is in for painting as we speak and will be ready tomorrow, new slicks on the rims on Thursday, new fluids and fire system going in this weekend and we are ready for Cadwell. See you there!

Thanks Dave! He's doing me a good deal too as for motorsport use (Stickers will be on car lol...) and making it up tomorrow. Should be with me Friday/Saturday and like I said if he's got time will wire the dash up too so everything will be the same colour lol...

Tim - I think Kev Gore is trying to get his Taz out for CAdwell if he can get box sorted in time! So might have 6...
