Detailing my T350T - Gleaming Kleen

I had to post this, J at Gleaming Kleen has just finished detailing my T350T with a few changes as well as the result is nothing short of amazing!.

I was really sceptical of the cost as the most I've spent before is £80 for a valet but this is no Valet, I saw some previous examples of his work and decided heck, in for a penny .........

I can't recommend him highly enough, not just for the quality of work but for his attitude, passion for the job and helpfulness - an absolute pleasure to deal with

I booked in for full correction along with change of wheel colour and the rear diffuser also being changed to a different colour - I know this will be like marmite, some will love, some will hate, but I love the way the exhausts now shine through and the diffuser is separated from the body

Vehicle after the wash stages and before the subtle changes to wheels and diffuser


Wheels before were a flat silver


Wheels after - done in a nice Black Chrome with the insides black which really sit well with the Spectraflair silver paint job. These were protected with 3 coats of Zaino Z2 and tyres dressed with Zaino Z16




Arches and suspension throughly cleaned using AG Powermax 3

Wheel hubs recieved a bit of TLC also.


They were sanded back, primered and painted with a few coats




Rear diffuser was dropped and taken to bodyshop so they could spray it to my choosen colour - light antracite. Whilst this was off this allowed J to polish up the exhausts, this was done using Briliant Metal polishes. They were then sealed with Blackfire All Metal Sealant

Correction was carried out using Menz 3.02 on a 3m polishing pad

oNCE correction was complete paintwork was refined using Megs 205.




SV cleaner fluid was applied/removed by hand and paintwork was given a coat of Swissvax Divine with a final wipedown with SV quickfinish a couple hours later

A few afters - some were taken taken on a nice sunny day whilst others taken on a overcast day

Thanks for all the positive replies, it took a lot of back & forth to finally decide on the colours for the wheels and the diffuser and even then it was a leap of faith, i didn't sleep well that night!! so I'm really glad you all agree too.

Re the cost I haven't had the bill yet but what ever it is it will be worth it, especially when you love your car and it can only have a positive effect on the future value as I have signed up for J's quarterly plan when he will come back for a day every 3 months and re clean properly and top up the protections & waxes so if I was looking to buy one and this was in the history i would be dead chuffed.

The finish looks fantastic. Had my Griffs Estorils refurbed and finished in black chrome just the same in January by elite wheels in leeds. The effect in differing lights is stunning against my cooper green paintwork. Black chrome is the new silver.

Next i need to get the paintwork sorted. What regions does J cover.

Colour change on diffuser is £185 + Vat, cost for wheels vary depending on wheel size and finish

J covers the whole UK as far as I know

hard for me to say how long without the paintwork as J has had the car at his place for a week but that was to do everything so best if you call him direct - 07903 836203 cheers

wheels take 3-4 days to do alone, colour change on rear diffuser is 1 day ready for next morning. Rest of car cleaned and protected properly WITHOUT paint correction could take 1-2 days

sprayed on and worked in with various brushes and pressure washed off. It took a few go's to get all the build up of grime off

obviously care has to be taken, not full blast and do not get too close. You can use a open end hose if you prefer
