I love the car, best day so far today weather wise, went for a blast , but it just feels so wobbly, having had TVR and 911s, it doesnt seem to live up to all the reviews Ive read...is it thats its so sorted that Im missing the driver input...
I know its not a coupe and its manuel (best IMO), and 19s are not the best choice.....but it doesnt give me the confidence of the 911.... (any of them)
Apart from that I dont care, cos I bloody love it...best all rounder.

I don't think the cab handles quite as well as the coupe.

However if it feels really bad, it would be worth getting the suspension bushes and mounts checked.

These cars do wear them out fairly quickly, especially if they're driven hard, and if they're well worn, replacing them will transform it.

Wobbly? Could quite possibly be the RTABs.....very common on the M3 and from what I've heard they produce that 'wobbly' feeling when worn...

RTABS....?

Its not the handling, the car is cab so is shakey, I think the chunky steering wheel doesnt help, and there are no bucket seats!!!!

Guess Im being picky cos I love the car,it is fast but doesnt feel it.
I dont think you can sling it around as well as a smaller car...But it takes people in the back and has a boot and other nice bits!!! I have never driven or been in a coupe, be good to see the difference.

It's because it's quite heavy - it weighs 1655 KG (kerb weight) but it's relatively light as a proper four-seater convertible.

It won't feel as lanted as the coupe. Still it might be a spring that's snapped. Very common on E46 M3's. On my 53 M3. Rear spring was replaced at 5k and I had another go at 11k

RTAB = Rear Trailing Arm Bush

Get them checked out. If they are worn, they are the reason why your car doesn't feel planted on the road.
