T350C - respray cost?

I know it is a bit of a vague question, but can anyone give me a very rough idea of a price paid to have a) full front end respray and b) full car respray?
I would stick with the Laser blue and there isn't any damage, just lots of the normal stonechips. Would also like some Armorfend or similar afterwards.

I assume laser blue is a std paint you should be looking at £600 front end £2k for all of it but that is approx and would be +vat
Armourfend £600 approx again

Cheers - I note you are in Derby also, have you used anyone local for paintwork?

I had a full respray at the start of the year, it was approx 2600gbp and i had Paintshield on the front end before that which cost approx 500gbp. I doubt i would bother with the Paintshield again though.

Why? Bad experience? I found the paintshield crew a delight and very professional. Had the front end of mine coated late 2007 and there still isn't a mark on it. Best £600 I've ever spent. You have to remember you can't just keep repainting these cars every couple of years.

Have found that it will still mark, after all nothing is impregnable, but not as easily as the paint and can obviously be removed eventually. How can you drive for 2 years and not have any marks? Where do you find all those roads with no stones or chips or do you drive really slowly?

Honest. Not a sausage. The only mark is a scuff where I nudged my static bike in the garage. The only disadvantage I've found is that you can't use tar remover or similar products for stubbon marks as this will discolour the film

On my other point, some paint is definitely galaxial in cost, but my logic is simply that unless you have all the original paint removed right back to the fibreglass, each respray is simply adding layers. Sooner or later it must get too thick. Right?

Nothing against Paintshield it did it's job well for a couple of years but it did mark so instead of having Paintshield i would just get a front end respray instead.

As said though it depends on the price of your paint.

I was going to have this done until other things became a higher priority - Surface & Design were recommended by lots of people on here and their quote was very very competitive too - Give Andrew a call.

We charge 600 plus VAT for a front end repaint across the board with a 2yr warranty. if you are getting charged much more than this you should be asking them to break the price down for you.

If it's a chromaflair then the price will be higher.
