Fiesta ST: Revs failing to drop on depressing the clutch.

Hi i was wandering if anybody can shed any light on a matter for me?
I have recently bought an 05 Fiesta ST and i have encountered hopefully only a minor but niggly matter that i am hoping someone can clarify for me.

When driving along normally and changing gear, i have noticed that when i lift off the throttle and depress the clutch that the revs don't seem to drop?

I returned the car to the Furrows dealership in Shrewsbury to be looked at under the warranty and to be honest was pretty pointless they checked all the diagnostics and said that it was fine and said it must of been my driving!

I have been driving 7 years and never had the problem in any other car i am convinced it is the car.

Any answers please?

I always find mine climbs a couple of hundred revs before dropping
I believe this is quite normal....
