SMax coolant leak

Our S-Max 2.5T seems to have developed a thirst for coolant.
No other symptoms other than needed about a litre on Saturday and another 0.7 litres on Sunday.
Anyone else experienced leaks on an S-Max?
Is it common?

Certainly not a common problem on the 2.5T.
I've been running one for 2 years and have a number of friends on the S-Max Owners Club who have one too.
Are there obvious leaks when the car's left standing?

Got it all fixed by local independent garage (our local Ford franchise isn;t great) as I was working away from home last week and needed the car for the weekend.

There was a split in the plastic air bleed hose (links top of cylinder head to rad and coolant header) - but it only showed up when hot, hence no water on the drive.

Took garage three hours to fit as the new part wouldn't go back in.
