One, two, three and b r e a t h e.... Well it's here. It got built on time and it didn't get squished in transit. Now that I've seen it with my own eyes, touched it and started it up, I can finally believe it really is going to happen. On March 1st it will be mine, and it looks exactly like this:

Apart from sleeping, biggest problem right now is remembering to breathe. God, I don't think I've ever been so excited in my life. Yaaahhoooooo. Bloody marvellous.

Its pure bloody agony... can't think what you are feeling Kevin!!!

Can't wait to see it, is it in the showroom as I'm going to have a look at that Gallardo today, so I'll pop by and have a look if its in the showroom. Taking Nat with me for her opinion and told her the plan for collecting the car, she was like "oh can I come along?" Poor thing, I felt so bad telling her we had no seats. Still, she'll get to see it later!!!

Can't wait to hear it, although I know I've lost all rights on commenting on the sound, I know, I know.

Outstanding Kev!

I extend my heartfelt congratulations...and envy

It's one of the few cars that genuinely makes me think that perhaps I don't really need my house after all?

Nice one Kev,

Waiting for something that is already there is the hardest thing to do. Breathe.....in through the nose and out through the mouth. Repeat.

I salute you from the wrong side of the Atlantic.

Nice one Kevin, surely the car of the moment!

The wait may be agonising but this is one car that will probably exceed your expectations.

Look forward to seeing and hearing it sometime.

Thanks all! I'll do the traditional thing with pics and initial impressions. It'll be doing the rounds at various PH events this year. First one is to take Daz up on his offer of a ratburger if I show up in it at Bruntingthorpe (as a spectator) next month; how can anyone refuse an offer like that?!

Hey Rico, good to meet you too. Was writing my reply as you were posting yours, so yes, I intend to bring it up on the 21st.

The tubi on that Murcielago makes a huge difference. I've driven one before and it left me cold. The engine is the heart of this beast and you need to hear it to get the full effect. Makes it an incredibly visceral experience. And you know that feeling you get when you think someone is watching you? Well in this car, they bloody well are!

Looking forward to the Piccies Kev...

bumped into you a few times today, but never got the chance to exchange pleasantries..

Congrats on the new choice, its never fun having to let go off a cherished car, but its all made good when that fateful day arrives with the new, improved steed

Does this mean the Porker is for the Chop?

Enjoy... and PLEASE, get an Digi Vid Cam and share the experience
