Aaaaaaaaaaarrrggghhh!! Too soon - so much still to do/fix/organise/buy/find/remember.

It's all too much for a bear of very little brain.

It's my first year going with 10 other friends, of which only one has been before.

We are all really looking forward to it. Especially our minibus which we are customising to take us there.

Just remember that when they say the roof is waterproof up to 125mph it really means it flies off over that speed... (allegedly) smile

YEY!!! All tickets arrived today! Tetre Rouge camping, weekend tickets and Laganche grandstand. All present and correct, just need Mulsanne/Arnage parking from Brian at 1st-Tickets and thats the lot.

Ferry from Portsmouth balance due in a couple of weeks and then it's a matter of planning the D-Day beach tour on Wednesday morning. Taking the Vette to Omaha and Utah beaches a week after D-Day anniversary should be quite special.

If you're doing the beaches, and have time you can visit my Tank! Well it was mine so to speak, it was on troop strength of 1 TP 26 Armd Engr Squadron, I was (much much) later the boss of them, and still resides in Arromanches-les-Bains, about 100 yds from where it was knocked out. Just off the Rue General Charles de Gaulle, car park right next to it.

Ahhhh... you must have been at LMC08 when it got hauled away on the low loader. All back to normal now, just got a few jobs before LM10, new exhaust, wheels polished and paint job.

Nice pick up in your profile by the way, you taking that this year?

I'm always one for a bit of culture where it's allowed, once inside the perimeter of La Sarthe I'm afraid all that goes out the window. We've got a few hours to kill before heading off from Caen so will have a nose about for 'your' tank. I plan on getting as many pictures of the Vette by 'things' so fingers crossed I find it.
