Ea Server problems

Is anyone else having difficulty getting onto the Ea servers??

I been trying to play fifa 10 for 3 days now and keep getting the "Ea servers unavailable message" but people on my friends list are playing without a problem.

Tried messing around with my router and reset it 3 times with no joy.....

Please someone help me

oh I even bought a new copy today in case mine had been scratched and nada still cant connect.

If you are using an Xbox 360, try the following - it sounds like a stupid idea, but I had the problem the other evening and this fixed it for me.

1. Log out of Xbox Live
2. Go into System settings and change your Xbox date to 3 years in the past - I actually changed mine to 2005
3. Log back into Live, the time is reset to the correct time and then the connection to the EA servers worked

No idea why, but no amount of messing around with the router would solve it (it had worked previously), but this fixed it and there are a few people who did the same thing.

It's been going on for ages (at least 2 years to my knowledge), especially on the PS3 & to a lesser extent the 360. I have problems connecting to the EA servers all the time, it will find them OK but can't connect... I've tried setting up new accounts, changing the settings on my router (UPNP/DMZ), removing the router from the loop altogether & I still have problems. It's totally random, sometimes I can get straight in, sometimes it locks me out all day.

I had the very same problem with fifa 09, I bought a new copy of the game as my disc was beggered and had trouble loading the game anyway and it did solve the problem so I am suprised it has not worked for you.
