TVR Cerbera clutch or lack of it..................
Discussion
Burst Bleed hose or loose bleed nipple would be the best news
Could be Master cylinder or the slave cylinder.
Firstly remove the clutch fluid cover and check it, if there is black bits of gunge in the bottom, then the seals have probably gone. Fill it up and bleed the clutch, you may find it will be OK for a while (days/weeks who knows
)
Then check in the footwell above the clutch pedal and see if you can see any signs of leakage from the master cylinder.
PS Welcome to 'Cerb'land, and I hope you like baked beans - it'll all be worth it, you'll love it

To add the clutch fluid cover is on the inner drivers wing. It is be plastic cover held on by mastic and under this two screws. You will need mastic (bath sealant) to fix it back on once you've checked the reservoir for black gunk/levels or you'll get leaks.

Thanks for all the posts.
I'm in Gravesend - I'll add some pictures of the car at the weekend as the weather is naff at the moment and it would look much nicer without the rain all over it.
I checked out the clutch fluid this morning, was worried when I saw the cover held on my tons of white mastic and two dodgy screws! appears that's normal then as I though what the heck - that look a tad shoddy.
Anyway it was in need of a top up, once done pressure again on the clutch pedal - not driven it yet though. I did notice a small amount of fluid on the pedal arm - nothing major though.
Will have to have a proper investigte on Friday, gutted no driving over the Easter Weekend.

If it has run low or emptied you will be wise to bleed the full system to make sure any trapped air is removed. Also this will flush new fluid around the seals prolonging their life (the best they can be anyway)I'm in Gravesend - I'll add some pictures of the car at the weekend as the weather is naff at the moment and it would look much nicer without the rain all over it.

The car is booked in at Taylor TVR, cant see anything abvious after a good look at it this afternoon. Clutch seems ok after topping up - just to nervous to take her out and risk it before Dan and his team to look at it.
Dan I believe did mine back in his former life and it has stayed together. Sounds like a master cylinder change. Edited by Souten74 on Tuesday 30th March 20:07
A little suspect that the clutch went so soon, was the sealant very clean before you removed the panel, suggesting recent top ups?

Difficult to say, as the whole car was very clean.
I'm afraid it's something I just have to chew - only positive for me is the car is covered by AA repair warranty and that covers master and slave upto £500.
Did the AA come out and try and fix? With my AA warranty you need to breakdown for them to pay post a recovery to the garage. I'm afraid it's something I just have to chew - only positive for me is the car is covered by AA repair warranty and that covers master and slave upto £500.
