Tuscan Seats

There have been a number of threads debating whether or not Tuscan seats wil fit in a Griff. Well, I can now confirm that they do.

I spoke to a number of garages who all suggested drilling new holes to fit the TUSCAN seats. However, Topcats came up with a cleaner and much more professional solution of fitting a base plate to each seat so that the orginal holes could still be used. Many thanks to Warren and Brian who did a top job and were very friendly and a joy to deal with.

As for the issue of height that I've seen mentioned a few times, there is no loss of height. There is however, a slight loss of leg room - I think this is due to the more curved back of the Tuscan seat compared with the original one (I have a LE Griff, so it had the old Cerbera seats).

All I need to do now is get the interior retrimmed. Might have to save a bit first!

Can i ask what was wrong with you old Cerbera seats???

Or did you just want tuscan seats.

Where did you get the seats from, and dare I ask, how much did they cost ?

I changed the Cerbera seats as I thought they were a bit too old fashioned looking - I've made quite a few changes to the Griff and the seats/interior was the next obvious project.

With regard to the Tuscan seats, I found them on PH and cost £600.

Thanks for that. I'm trying to build up my shopping list of upgrades, which started with the factory wheel / brake upgrade and Takora engine upgrade, which i still think is the way to go, and change the seats to Tuscans so I'm not gripping the wheel so hard on track days.
