Kick ass... you lucky git; don't have time to see this for another few weeks yet. Can safely say I'll never watch clash of the titans though (if that helps any wink)

I was thinking the same thing.

Clash of the Titans if you want to hear and enjoy the film with some space around you, Kick Ass if you don't mind a cinema packed full of irritating kids talking through the film.

I'd see Clash first as it's more of a 'cinema experience' film. Kick Ass is the (much) better film though...

Clash of the titans is in 3D

I've only ever seen jaws in 3D which was just awful - is it better now then?

I saw Avatar in 3d. It's not red/blue glasses 3d any more it's like wearing very weak polaroid sunglasses, if you take them off during the film the film still looks the same (in colour) but some areas are blurred. The depth of field is great but if they do any special bits like floating items in the foreground it can get annoying as they are out of focus if you look at them. You have to be looking at the same area on the screen as the director intends you to if you want the effect correctly shown.

Some have rushed to add 3d to their films in only a few weeks. Clash of the Titan and Alice in Wonderland for example so they might not be of the same quality as Avatar which was made to be shown in 3d from the start.

Depends on who you are going with and what your mood is.Kick Ass is a great film which I would recommend everyone see as soon as possible.Clash looks good on paper and in the trailers, and would definitely be a "cinema" film, but could be a let down. Tough call, but I adore Kick-Ass so go for that, in my humble opinion.

I remember that well, Jaws 3-D and Friday 13th in 3-D (1983, IIRC) Put me off going to the cimema for years, they were so awful!

I really want to see Clash of the Titans, though....

Im going to watch The Clash of the Titans on Thursday, IMO it is definitely a movie to be watched in the cinema

Although I will be watching Kick Ass at some point, I imagine it will be just as good on DVD, so I will probably be waiting until then...

Kick Ass is great. I haven't seen Clash yet but I doubt it's anywhere near as good.

Whilst reading some (none too flattering) reviews of Clash of the Titans, I came accross this potention little gem from Neil Marshall;

http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117942172.html?ca...

"Centurion
A raggedy band of second-century Roman soldiers scramble to escape revenge-bent Pict warriors in ancient Blighty in the rousing if slightly predictable chase drama "Centurion." Working with a heftier budget than he had for his last, "Doomsday," horror-trained British helmer Neil Marshall flexes strong action muscles and carves copious flesh here, creating the sort of broadsword-based bedlam that will thrill fans of ancient martial movies. Nevertheless, macho pic may lack the sort of cross-quadrant appeal that made Marshall's all-femme ensembler "The Descent" a sleeper hit. Good word-of-mouth will be needed to build an empire of followers."

I think we're going for Kick Ass this evening, good ole 2 for 1 Orange. We debated Clash of the Titans but I think I'll enjoy Kick Ass more.

This is a big decision for me, prob last chance to get to cinema for a while, my due date for dropping a sprog is tomorrow smile
