Hi

can anyone point me in the right direction for getting my quad bike legal so that it can be used on the road? Its registered as an agricultural vehicle in the UK but doesn't have indicators or brake lights and ideally I want it registered for road use rather than just using it on the land. However, I get conflicting suggestions as to what is neccessary; my thinking being that at the very least it needs a road kit, then importing and finally the ITV etc.

Any thoughts?

Definately need the road kit, then go to your Gestor who will arrange the papers for you to have the vehicle measured to the issued spec for that model, then the ITV & registration.
