I have just upgraded to the Iphone 3GS and was wondering if anyone can suggest any good companies that will insure it cheeper than o2 will?

o2 are asking for £15 month on top of the contract price!

Cheers in advance

You can get a 2nd hand 3GS on ebay for £350. Is it really worth insuring?

I just slapped ours on the house insurance, same cover for an extra £20 a year. You know it makes sense.

Ben,

An alternative is the Natwest Advantage Gold account, you pay £12 p/month but you get phone insurance, breakdown cover and a few other handy bits.

What Tonsko says.

Most contents policies have a section called "Personal Belongings" or similar. This section is designed to give all risks cover to items taken outside your home. It usually covers watches, jewelery, baggage on holiday etc. Nowadays most policies will also cover portable computers and phones. Check your policy wording and make sure the sum insured is enough.

If in doubt; don't ask the PH collective, because there are almost as many different policies as cars, ask your insurance person.
