Heres one for the men that will probably disgust the ladies - but it'll be quite interesting to see the results.

When you've been for a pee at a urinal, do you shake, zip and walk away or do you wash your hands?

Personally I'm of the opinion that I wash my bits each day so they're clean and I've not touched anything else so doing that is just fine. After all, you dont wash your hands after touching your arms do you!

There are probably more germs on the door handle that you have to touch in order to leave the room.

So what do others do? Our office seems split 50:50 - How about PH ?

depends what you mean by washing. Most people just run their fingers under a tap, said tap probably having more bacteria on it than their knobs and the water doing nothing about anything which may or may not be on their hands afterwards....

Decent Wash and have alcohol gel on desk for when i get back (also use paper towel to open toilet door no point in washing hands then touching main door handle and getting the non washer's stuff on my hands! hehe ).

Young man (seeing Churchill leaving the bathroom without washing his hands): At Eton they taught us to wash our hands after using the toilet.
Churchill: At Harrow they taught us not to piss on our hands.

You use paper towel to open the door?!

I occasionally will give the toilet seat a quick wipe with a bit of bog roll, but opening the door with paper towels seems to be on a whole new level.

Yes, always and I think it's pretty disgusting when people don't. Even if you don't get splashback I thinks it's just a good idea to wash your hands fairly often anyway.

I've never quite figured out why people think the alcohol gel stuff is a replacement for washing your hands... For example, you go to the stter, and you have a hole pokey moment, and you get st on your frakkin hand. You use the gel.. It doesn't actually wash anything off. granted, it may kill germs, but you still have st on your hand!

Always wash my hands. Of course it is all utterly pointless if some grotty st has not bothered, and left their germs all over the handle on the door.

besides, there's no point washing your hands in a basin you've just pissed in, is there?

Jeeze.. I'm going to assume you only do that when your alone?

I always wash the hands, if I don't spill, just a quick rinse.. If splashback, a full soap wash.

Wash hands every time, and use hand towel to turn off towel and open door (where possible), if hand dryer I try to time exit as someone else leaves/enters. I am also now a pro at opening doors with a foot smile

Mainly for the reason that 50% of the male population seem to be disgusting buggers who don't do likewise

Just what I was thinking!

I only give me 'andys a swill if I poke through the paper during a seated session in the thunder box.

No, we are just keeping our immune system topped up. The next time one of these alcohol gel type even see a bacterial bug they'll probably be rushing to A&E getting sick everywhere. Us disgusting buggers will just carry on as normal wink

You sick bunch of fks!

Wash every time - doesn't matter if that tap is full of piss! It stops automatically.

1. Pee
2. Shake
3. The giant mouse is back in the house
4. Tap on
5. Soap
6. Rinse
7. Dry
8. Exit back to desk

Lavatory hygene.... DONE
