Easter at The Ring

Anyone else going over this weekend? We were doubling-up with Spa on Friday until the problem with the track at Blanchimont so it's just the Ring.

Bit worried about the weather so interested to hear if anyone else is going too.

We'll be there. Staying at Tiergarten so will be in the Pistenklaus on Friday night. Look out for White Rabbit Racing appareil in the bar and say hello if you are there.

Nice M3 - reminds me of my old one. I'll be in my 911SC race car - first time for it at The Ring so should be fun. Hope the snow holds off...we're staying at the Hohe Acht hotel, will look for your car in the car park.

I'm going with a few mates. I'm towing the m3 out with the Sport so even if it snows, ill get a lap in in something.
Guy, we met you on the way out a few years ago if you remember, black Maserati quattroporte, your mate was in that gorgious Integrale.

I remember. We did the same trip last year but the 'grale was not so glorious. The big end went on the drive down!

Thanks. She goes as well as she looks now. Had a fantastic day in the pouring rain at Silverstone yesterday! Please post a pic of your car and I will look out for you.

Used to race in the Porsche Club Championship - indeed, won the championship in the hands of Ben Demetriou. It's now road registered in the loosest possible sense - ie, it has a handbrake and indicators!! I'm looking forward to the journey over with no heater etc etc...

Make sure that you bring all of your documentation with you for the car, vehicle tax, insurance, etc. The Police will be doing spot checks this weekend and it's better to be safe than sorry

We used to always go every easter but didnt last year or this, it ended up crazy busy loads of crashes hard to get 20 of us booked into anywhere for food

but looking at the webcam i now wish i did.

Totally agree, one of the most enjoyable ring trips I've had. I saw your car there - very nice! Friday and Monday weather was great and on Saturday evening I managed to sneak in 3 semi-dry laps after the Harley parade on a very quiet track - it was brilliant.

Thank you! That was me. Nice that she goes as well as she looks. Wonderful to drive out there. When it was dry anyway!
