Hi Si, had the same problem! can you get it to stay open?

If you can, go into Tools, Options, Connection.

Check to see if the "Hang up after sending and receiving" box is ticked.

If it is, uncheck it!

This resolved my problem.

Hope this helps

Hi BB

on the outlook problem check that there is no other ISP installed and that it is trying to connect to that. Also check that your default disconnect time if idle.

on the broudband thing you should be able to get RADSL. it goes upto IIRC 15 miles of the exchange.

I had this when I tried V21. Despite complaining it didn't improve - in fact I could almost never connect - and the b*astards kept my £9.99.

So vote with your feet!
