What wheels and tyre sizes do you have on the car?

Can't help with an alignment recommendation in your area, however its very important that it is correct.

Got mine done a short while ago along with eibach springs alignment cost around £80:00 from local indy made a great deal of difference considering it felt a1 beforehand.

If you really want the suspension and alignment sorting out and get the time to venture a touch further afield, http://www.centergravity.co.uk/services.cfm has many good reports

I did a bit of research when I got mine done and found that the Hunter alignment kit is one of the best in the biz. http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/ will give you details of your local specialist that use the Hunter system.

The going rate is around £80 depending on how much work needs to be done.

Thanks alot everyone. Might give BM-tec a ring in salford and see what system they use. I assumed the steering wheel veering sharply during last few feet of braking before a standstill was related to the alignment, does anyone know if this is correct? I had the front brakes and pads changed by main dealer a month ago and this seems to have made it worse...

Just to add some spice to the topic. It's possible to adjust the suspension on the M3 to become a little more extreme and make it handle a little more aggressively. Slight toe-out on the front and almost neutral toe on the rear makes a huge difference. Rear camber and front camber can also be adjusted too, although the front can only be adjusted after removing a locking pin apparently.

The following post gives stock and CSL alignment details:
