Does any body know anything about the Bentley from Casino Royal??

It's a 1923 Bentley 3 litre, chassis #155 (currently lives in Devon according to the latest BDC members list).

It appears to now have a standard looking 3 litre engine with slopers, but in the film it looks like it had a 4.5 supercharged.

Or did you mean the VAG Flying Spur that appeared in almost every background shot in the Daniel Craig version of 2006? biggrin

It belongs to my dissertation tutor! we satrted talking cars the other day but he had to rush off for a meeting! thought I'd find a bit about it before I spoke next as I don't know too much about vintage cars like his!

It belongs to the current chairman of the BDC Western Region, Mike Warner, tipped to be a future national chairman. An old mate of mine from when we worked together in the City 30-odd years back. He bought it from Stanley Mann a few years ago. As it happens it is currrently being upgraded to 4.5 litre spec. (but no supercharger).

Well I'll be! Didn't know he was such a petrol head! hes a damn good lecturer and it seems hes a pretty interesting bloke outside Uni! going to have some good stuff to talk about on Tuesday other than my dissertation!
