If the Conservatives get in.................

Almost certainly.
They are supposed to demonstrate impartiality. They haven't. Therefore we need a new BBC that does.
The Beeb as an institution is well worth having. The current incarnation could be vastly improved: mainly by spending vastly less on it, IMO.
Away you go, Dave. Do your worst.

Nope.
I wrote to Cameron following the BBC's treatment of David Tennants endorsement of Gordon Brown as a front page news story on the BBC website. The reply I got said that the Tory's were happy with the BBC and felt it was unbiased and impartial. Extract;
"It is essential, given the regard that the BBC is held in by the public, that the highest standards of journalistic integrity and independence are upheld. On balance we believe the BBC does a good job reporting the news from the perspective of British values and beliefs".
The BBC gravy train will roll on regardless of who is in power, unless by some miracle UKIP are elected.

Cameron had absolutely no choice but to write that, IMO, although it may well be his sincere belief, I admit. He can't afford the BBC to more anti-Conservative than they are already...until he's in power (if he ever is). Only then will we truly know what he and his colleagues intentions are toward the BBC.I wrote to Cameron following the BBC's treatment of David Tennants endorsement of Gordon Brown as a front page news story on the BBC website. But for all he knew, you could be a Labourite on a wind-up. Next thing you know, front page of the BBC News site: "Unhappy Cameron states BBC not impartial; Brown accuses Tories of 'ridiculous claims attacking a well-loved British institution' ".I wrote to Cameron following the BBC's treatment of David Tennants endorsement of Gordon Brown as a front page news story on the BBC website. If it is done, it will be done on the quiet.

It's all moot anyway, I seriously doubt that CMD will ever be PM.
If the conservatives get in, we'll have lots of talk and little action, whilst every member feathers their nest, things will continue per usual.

Well, its got to be better than the hugely wasteful taxing and spending that this incompetent mob are conducting.
Time for a fresh start.
It is time for a fresh start. Not more of the same, which is what we're all about to vote for. Time for a fresh start.
