Someone has an invoice of mine, which is 763 days old.
They have finally agreed to settle up.

Coincidentally, the amount due is also £763.

I had a parcel delivery from a courier and on an old delivery slip he had written "left at number 4" but on the reverse was the address of one of my customers who lives 10 miles away, who I had just picked up after not seeing him for six months!

Bizarre.

I met a lad here in the UK who was from S. Africa, who said "You didnt live there did you?"
Followed by "How long, where abouts, what city" etc.

He kept drilling down and when he started asking me about people I might have known, I felt his questions were now a bit odd and far fetched.

It turned out that his best mate was one of my best mates.
Just at different times in our lives. We were both pretty stunned!

When I first moved to uni, I was in room 6, lad next tom me in room 5 was called scott, he was from coventry I was from Rugby, we thought nothign of it, until down the pub later, his mate rang, and I spoke to him on the phone "oh its my mate jon" etc etc, said hello and that was that.

On the way out, I happened to say "that wasn't Jon suchandsuch was it?" Turns out he knew my best mates from home, and when I'd been introduced to them all at a houseparty years before, he'd left about 5 minutes earlier, which I thought was pretty spooky!
