I'm wondering if the supercharger adds a lot of cabin noise. It is so tempting just to say heck with it and buy an s/c car but the standard 190 bhp Exige S2 is so nice and pure that I'm looking for reasons just to be happy with one of those. Less is more, etc.

The supercharger is only apparent when you are "giving it some" - but I can hardly hear it over the Larini anyway !

As above. It is a nice sound when you are making progress. Try both before you decide. The SC is more responsive at lower revs.

SC sounds great, you get a low level SC whine but never intrusive. A sports exhaust gives much more internal noise than the SC. It also gives a greater spread of power and gives massive flexibility in every gear. I may be bias as I have an S but for me it is a no brainer to go for the SC model but I am sure there will be other contrary views.;)

The supercharger sounds superb from outside when giving it some. I recall being at Hethel & hearing the Exige S. Absolutely glorious soundthumbup
