Does anybody know the list price of the standard Elise in 2000?

My Elise is a company car and it is that time when the BiK has to be calculated which I think is based on the list price? I thought the HMRC web site would have the data but apparently not.

I see the S1 Elise is in the top 10 suggested cars for contractors in reducing their company car tax bill.

In August 1999 My standard S1 cost £24950 with factory (pretty much de facto standard) options of Leather, Driving lights, hole for Stereo and metallic paint. Stanards cost was £23ksomething but from memory metallic paint (or custom colour) was £500, Driving lights I think were £195ish, Hole for stero was £135... so leather was somewhere between £500 or £800 option. A figure of £625 for leather would have reverse engineered the new price to a nice round £23495.....

Digging through my info. My 1999 135s registered 03/1999 cost £28,950 new, 03/2001 sold for £22,155,
Bought by me in 06/2003 for £14,600 - looks like H R Owen offered the seller £13,000!

Not what you asked for, but I thought quite interesting.

My March 2000 Elise S1 with Metallic Paint (Azure), Cream Leather, Radio Fitting Kit, Cobra Alarm and Auxiliary Driving Lights had a retail price of £25,495. This included the Road Fund Licence and I can't remember exactly how much this was - would need to be subtracted from the RRP to get the P11D value.

Yep. Rfosters price 6 months later than mine @ £500 extra is probably near the mark. Same spec as mine. I was probably including Road tax in mine... but no alloy winders, handbrake sleeve and shower cape (paid for those off invoice)

Bit annoying as I keep all my invoices but gave them to the people that bought the car last year as part of the folio of records.

Sounds about right. I roughly recall the purchase receipt for my old S1 Sport 160 being around the £33k mark. There were a few boxes ticked I suspect.

I didn't realise how expensive the S1 was when new. It makes the current cars seem good value.
